What to Expect

Before You Arrive

Once you schedule your child’s first appointment, we send you a text or email with a link to your new patient forms. Fill these out ahead of time. It speeds up your check-in and gives our team a head start on your child’s history.
We also reach out to confirm your insurance benefits before your visit. That way, you know what to expect on the cost side before your child ever sits in the chair.

During the Appointment

  • Check-In. Arrive a few minutes early so our front desk team can get your child settled in. If you filled out forms ahead of time, this part is quick.
  • A Gentle Cleaning. Our hygienist cleans your child’s teeth with tools sized just for little mouths. We talk your child through each step, so nothing feels unexpected.
  • X-Rays. If your child needs x-rays, we take them using low-dose digital equipment. Not every first visit requires them. Our team decides based on your child’s age and dental history.
  • The Exam. One of our doctors checks your child’s teeth, gums, and bite. They look for early signs of decay, spacing issues, or anything else worth watching.
  • A Plan, If Needed. If our doctor finds anything that needs attention, they explain it to you in plain language. You’ll leave knowing exactly what comes next, whether that’s a simple filling or just a note to watch at the next cleaning.
  • A Goodie Bag. Every first visit ends the same way: a goodie bag and a high five. Your child leaves with something to smile about, literally. 😁
